snowfall

since the snowfall and cold hit vancouver i've come to a grinding halt with the music.  and now it's christmas :)  so i'm just going to LET it be dormant until i'm able to work on it again.  a break is probably good anyhow.  taking a step back to see / hear with more clarity.   the snow is inspiring.. it's beautiful and bright :)  i've been taking a lot of photos.

             i'll be back at it soon enough...

so much rain

today it is raining, and i love the rain on days where I get to sit inside and work on music.  makes me feel like it's okay to shut out the world and create.  I have a new song that is taking form, I've already got too many tracks on the go... but i think it's a good one - it's called 'new leaf'.

woohoo, i've never had a blog before.  this is a bit strange...

this blog is about 'unconventional shining' the album i am recording right now.  i have been working on the album since Nov. 4th, the same day as the US election, so now it's been a month and 6 days...
